You cannot please everybody story

Once a father and son were carrying a horse. The son said to the father, “You sit on the horse, I walk.” The father sat on the horse. On the way, people started saying, “Father is cruel. He himself is sitting comfortably on a horse but his son is walking in the sun. Hearing this, the father made the son sit on the horse and started walking himself. Those who met next said, “Look how shameless the son is! He himself is sitting on a horse even though he is young and is making his father walk.” Hearing this, both of them sat on the horse. On going forward, people said, “Both of them are like buffaloes and are sitting on a small horse. The horse will be crushed by their weight.” Hearing this, both of them started walking. After walking some distance, people were heard saying, “How stupid are these two? There is a horse with them, yet they are walking.

Moral of you cannot please everybody story:

Whatever you do, people do criticize; Therefore, without paying attention to it, it is beneficial to behave as one feels worthy.
