Once upon a time, there was a boy named Sam. He loved ham, but he hated green eggs and ham.
One day, Sam’s friend came over and asked, “Sam, would you like some green eggs and ham?”
Sam said, “No thanks. I don’t like green eggs and ham. I only like ham.”
But Sam’s friend wasn’t giving up. He said, “Come on, Sam, just try one. I bet you’ll like them.”
Sam thought about it. “Maybe I should just try one.” So he said, “Okay, I’ll try one.”
But when Sam took a bite, he didn’t like it at all. He said, “I don’t like green eggs and ham! Can I have some ham now?”
But Sam’s friend still wasn’t giving up. He said, “Come on, Sam, just try one more. I bet you’ll like them.”
Sam was starting to get a little angry. He said, “No, I don’t want to! I don’t want to eat green eggs and ham! I want ham!”
But Sam’s friend just smiled and said, “Come on, Sam, just try one more. I bet you’ll like them.”
And so, Sam’s friend convinced him to try one more green egg. And to Sam’s surprise, he actually started to like them!
